Gabriella was at the school again. She had another meeting with the pronciple that morning. She had come up with a way of saving the school, and she was offering her legal advice and help for free. That school really meant a lot to her. She had so many memories in those halls, and she experienced so many firsts there, that even the thought of East High gone and having a mall built up on it's place was infuriating. After spending almost three hours in the administration area of the school she was finally done so she decided to take a walk around and look for Taylor maybe. Since she was back, she didn't really have the chance to see her best friend and she really wanted to surprise her

So she went to look for her, but Taylor was aparently in class, and Gabriella not wanting to disturb her, found herself wandering aimlessly through the corridors of the school. When she suddenly found herself outside the Theatre's doors. So many good times in there... Twinkle Town, The senior year spring musical... A small smile graced Gabriella's lips. She adjusted her purse on her shoulder and pushed the doors open, hesitantly walking in.

Gabriella looked around her smiling. Everything was the same... Nothing had changed in there! Even the paper moon was still on stage! Something that made her stomach clench. Gabriella suddenly noticed someone was on stage and she bit her lip Oh! Sorry! I didn't want to disturb! she apologized before she turned around quickly and started making her way towards tdoors again

Gabriella [heard the person on stage calling her with her full name and she looked up only to realize that it was none other but Sharpay Evans. She didn't recognize her at first with being brunette and all. At her question she shruhhed her shoulders I heard that this place was in danger, and I came to offer my legal advice in order to save it she said simply. She felt Sharpay hugging her smiling and she smiled, hugging her back. Sure they had their differences when they were in high school, but that was 5 years ago... A lot had changed Good to see you too she said with a wide smile. And she really meant it

Gabriella heard what Sharpay said about the mall. So her fears were true. They were trading education for money. Not caring how much this school meant to people around town, not caring how the students felt that they had to get transfered and how many generations that school educated. How many lives it changed... Hers was one of them. olor=maroon]Well not as long as I am here![/color] Gabriella said determiningly. Her eyes suddenly glowed as an idea came through her mind, when the realization hit her Wait wait... A mall?! she asked, a smirk forming across her lips Then we deffinitely have a case against the mayor and the hall city board! she exclaimed According to law, land that belongs to the government of the United States, can't be sold to private owners, unless they have a permission from the state's governor! And of course for him to give permission for something like that the Congress must agree! So what the mayor is doing is practically illegal! she said, exclaiming at the last sentence Because I really don't think that the governor would approve something like that if he wants to get re-elected and of course I don't think that he would even bother gointo the Congress for something like this! Gabriella said smiling shaking her head. She nodded her head at what Sharpay said about people losing their works and abou the kids of the school. Wow... Sharpay had indeed changed... She actually cared for others now and not just herself... And it was nice to see that.

Gabriella set her purse down, at one of the seats What the heck? People I care about work here! They can't just lose their jobs! she said shaking her head Don't worry there are a lot of things we can do about it. Make people sign petitions, go public about it exposing the mayor, and of course go to court she said shrugging her shoulders Anyway... How have you been? she asked

Gabriella explained the legal process to Sharpay and what they could do to save the school. She was speaking more for herself, so she could develohe idea in her mind and put her thoughts in line so she could actually make an action plan. She made a mental note to herself to do some research when she got at home about the property law, and the governal property. When she heard Sharpay saying that they could do a petition her, Chad, Taylor and... Troy, she nodded her head Exactly... Starting with the students, moving to their parents and then the rest of the city. After all it's their children's education we are talking about here! she stated with a shrug of her shoulders

Gabriella smiled at Sharpay when she showed her the ring on her left hand's ring finger. And her eyes fell on hers... She really cared about Drake and she really appreciated the fact that he stood next to her, supporting her all this time. He made her feel safe... And happy... Deffinitely she said with a wide smile Loks like everyone is taken... Everyone's commited huh? Gabriella asked with a small sigh

Gabriella heard Sharpay's ideas on how they could act in order to save the school and she nodded with her head smiling Sounds good... But let's just kepp the chaining thing as our last option she said smiling I guess we should all get together at some point, iscuss and put all of our ideas on the table, so we can have a plan on how to act! Gabriella suggested. If the other ones agreed she could arrange it and have them all over at her house so they can sort this out.

Gabriella's eyes fell on her ring and she heard Sharpay asking her about it Well... you don't know him... His name is Drake, we met at college. He was my study partner. He is a lawyer as well she said with a small shrug of her shoulders, and a small smile on her lips. Why did she feel uncomfortable talking about her fiance lately? And that started siince she returned back here... She felt that everyone expected her to grieve for her relationship with Troy her whole life! But she had moved on... It was pointless to hold on the past! But somehow they made her feel guilty for it... When she was the one who got betrayed!

At what Sharpay said next she looked up at her and then down to her ring again Well... I guess he didn't find the right person for him yet. He will eventually Gabriella statd simply As for donny... Well, he still has plenty of time in front of him! And so does troy she said with another shrug Funny though... I thought that you would end up with him at some point. But I guess that Zeke won you over! Gabriella said with a smile

Gabriella shook her head laughing slightly at Sharpay's reply about the chain thing. At what she said next about meeting at Baylor's she smiled Well we can meet at my home to discuss the action plan and go to ther restaurant afterwards. Since all the papers eand notes are at my office and it's a pretty big pile to carry around she said smiling. When she heard what Sharpay said next Gabriella bit her lip and looked down. She ehard her apologizing and she shook her head Don't worry it's alright... I can't really say that Drake and I clicked instantly... But he is a lot like me, he makes me feel safe and I know that he will never cheat. Gabriella replied simply with a shrug of her shoulders. Maybe you all get to meet him. He's coming over during the weekend

When she heard that Troy was still not over her she shook her head I don't really think I can do something about that. It wasn't easy for me either. I never opened up to anyone and the one time I did, I got betrayed. It took me too long to get over it... Gabriella said with a soft voice It's not my fault she said shrugging her shoulders. Gabriella smiled at Sharpay Well, after all that chasing high school... And about the date... Why stress out about it? You just need the time, to live together and know each other better

Gabriella laughed at the backpack comment I don't think they would fit... They don't even fit in my brief case! she said shaking her head slightly. At what she said next she sighed Sharpay... Relax... It really is ok. Plus I got used to the sarcasm ba high school she said joking And... yes... Drake is going to be a huge help in this case. The more attorneys the better Gabriella said smiling

At what Sharpay said next Gabriella couldn't suppress a scoff Seriously Sharpay? I wouldn't call sexual intercorse a rehearsal. I retty much can identify when two people are having sex. The nudity thing gives a hint as well she said arching an eyebrow. She took no excuses on that matter. She would have none of it. For the last three years she had people trying to give her excuses about it and trying to change her mind. She was tired. She had moved on and this was all in the past

Gabriella looked at Sharpay with an examining look Well if you want it so much why don't you just tell him that is time to set the date? Men can be a bit reatrded at this kind of matters she said shrugging her shoulders
